Cette journée à Bastia m'a émerveillé, notamment par ses vues imprenables sur la mer et les îles proches (Elbe, Pianosa), à travers les rues serpentines de la citadelle. Cette prise en est la transcription la plus belle : hommage à la mer d'azur et son atmosphère hors du temps. La photo semble presque symboliste, figurant ''l'exil'' (référence à celui de Napoléon à Elbe), la contemplation infinie... Le lampadaire ajoute à cet aspect surréaliste.

This day in Bastia (Corsica) has amazed me, particularly with the stunning views on the sea and the near islands (Elba, and Pianosa) through the serpentine streets of the citadel. This shot is maybe the best expression of this effect : tribute to the ''azure sea'' and its timeless atmosphere. The photograph seems even kind of symbolist, figuring the ''exile'' (reference to Napoléon's one in Elba), and infinite contemplation... The lampost adds to this surrealist aspect.
