Une prise depuis le trottoir au-dessus des quais de Seine en face du Louvre. J'étais touché par ce père qui veillait sur sa fille à distance, la laissant s'approcher du bord après l'avoir avertie- il garde on œil protecteur mais sans l'étouffer. Elle, de son côté, ne peut qu'avoir sa naturelle envie de liberté et découverte, symbolisée par la moitié scintillante de l'eau vers laquelle elle pointe son nez. Composer ainsi, la scène peut donc prendre une tournure allégorique: l'enfant au centre de l'enjeu de la parentalité (au croisement des lignes de compo) ; la transmission du père vers la fille sur la ligne verticale ; et donc la fille exprimant son impulsion de passer de l'autre côté de la barrière inéluctablement. Je pars loin encore je sais mais cette scène captée m’évoque vraiment pas mal de choses ahah

A shot taken from the sidewalk above the banks of the Seine (in front of the back of the Louvre). I was touched by this father who watched over his daughter from a distance, letting her approach the edge after having warned her – he keeps a protective eye but without smothering her. She, for her part, can only have her natural desire for freedom and discovery, symbolized by the sparkling half of the water towards which she points her nose. Composing like this, the scene can therefore take an allegorical turn: the child at the center of the issue of parenthood (at the crossroads of the lines of composition); transmission from father to daughter on the vertical line; and as said the girl expressing her impulse to pass to the other side of the barrier, ineluctably. Again, I'm going far I know, but this captured scene really reminds me of a lot of things haha

Premier voyage avec mon cher Théophile à Strasbourg Noël 2015. La photo a été prise dans la cathédrale, pas de filtres/retouches mais un effet de lentille pour encercler le sujet. La forme de la rose et celle du bout des orgues assemblées me rappellent un escargot et sa coquille

First trip with my best buddy in Strasbourg, december 2015. This shot was taken in the cathedral, no filter but an effect of lense to circle the target. The part of the organ plus the rose, together, seem like a big snail with its shell.

Une ligne droite verticale rejoint les deux diagonales hautes au centre de la composition. La lumière rose et jaune du coucher de soleil provoque ses contre-jours, et joue avec les bâtiments haussmanniens, comme on peut le voir dans le reflet > supports modernes de la scène harmonieuse, de la toile.

"Le Surfeur de Nuages"

Mes trajets photos contemplatifs en skate musique dans les oreilles, qui avaient commencé avec la reprise de la glisse en juin 2015, ont repris de plus belle en octobre après ma grosse blessure d'août. Ils se multiplient même les mois qui suivent, dans une période de convalescence physique et mentale où rien d'autre ne parvient vraiment à nourrir mon esprit encore tourmenté. Cette photographie me rappelle cette fin d'année 2015 tout en solitude. Cette étonnante ligne de nuages marquée, les deux bleus qu'elle délimite, m'a fait penser à une immense vague menaçante, extraordinaire. Avec ce cadrage j'ai voulu que le Génie de la Liberté, en haut de la colonne de Juillet à la Bastille, soit le ''surfeur d'argent'' qui navigue gracieusement dans cette mer de nuages.

My skateboard trips (music on headphones), that began when I take over rolling in June 2015, resumed in October after my broken ankle in August. It even began to be my daily life the months that followed, in a time of physical and mental convalescence, when nothing else could fill my still tormented spirit. This photograph reminds me of this end of 2015, full of creative solitude. This surprising strong line of clouds, the two blues that it separates, made me think of giant wave, extraordinary. With this framing, I wanted to make the Génie de la Liberté (the statue on top of the Bastille column in Paris) incarnate the ''silver surfer'' that is cruising this sea of clouds.

Promenade solitaire brumeuse d'automne, après les cours. Une prise au ras du sol pour ce jeu de perspective et d'échelle. Les statues du Palais du Trocadéro et la Tour Eiffel jouent cette scène tout en nuances de doré et ocre.

Solitary and misty autumn walk, after class. A shot from the ground level for this play of scales and perspective. The statues of the Trocadero Palace and the Eiffel Tower make this scene all in gold and ochre shades.

Un paysage parisien évidemment si familier et cher à mon cœur : les abords du Louvre, les jardins du Carrousel et des Tuileries. Une belle immortalisation des fins de journée après le travail à l'EDL, à regarder la lumière s'éteindre, en goûtant la chance d'étudier ici. ''Douce Fin'' pour ce joli coucher bien sûr ; mais aussi parce que cette photo a été prise en compagnie d'une femme le soir de la fin de notre petite histoire. Une ''rupture'' si douce et adulte (Douce Fin) qu'elle nous permit de rester bons amis. Un beau mélange de beautés et émotions différentes dans cette image.

A so familiar and dear to my heart parisian landscape : around the Louvre, the Carrousel's garden and the Tuileries one. A beautiful immortalisation of these ends of day after school (Ecole du Louvre), looking at the light slowly turning off, and enjoy the chance of studying here. ''Sweet End'' for this sunset of course ; but also because the photograph has been taken in company of a woman the day we ended our relationship. A so gentle and mature ''break up'' (Sweet End) that it allowed us to remain good friends. So, a nice mix of beauties and emotions in this pic.

Quand la lumière du matin faisait briller ma fenêtre, cette silhouette d'homme assis dans le parc (situé en bas de mon immeuble) renforçait l'étrange/fantomatique mais non moins magnifique atmosphère. Cette photographie est importante pour moi car c'est la première avec mon premier reflex, le Pentax K-50 acquis ce mois-ci en 2015.

When the morning light was making my window shine in a fantastic way, the silhouette of the man sitting in the park (near my apartment) was supporting the strange/ghostly but not less beautiful atmosphere. This photograph is important for me as it is the first I did with my first reflex camera, Pentax K-50 that I have bought this month, 2015.

Que j'aime le beau hivernal ! Cette clarté cristalline, en arrêt, apaisante. Place de la Concorde, je me promène. Je suis saisi par ces ombres de lampadaires en perspective et celle de la passante ; tout en harmonie. Comme des aiguilles sur une horloge trottoir ! Songe d'hiver...
