Eglise Saint-Etienne-du-Mont place du Panthéon. J'ai vu ce couple enlacé sur un banc. En perspective, je trouvais que cette statue donnait l'impression de veiller sur eux, comme un ange gardien. Un bel écho d'amour, et tout un symbole si fort et réconfortant. J'ai pris cette scène en rasant le capot d'une voiture pour créer un reflet en bas. Le tout à ma chère heure dorée qui fait vibrer la pierre et le métal.

Saint-Etienne-du-Mont church, Panthéon place. I saw this couple hugging on a bench. In perspective, I found that this statue gave the impression of watching over them, like a guardian angel. A beautiful echo of love, and such a strong and comforting symbol. I took this scene close to  a car's roof to create a reflection at the bottom of the composition. All at my dear golden hour which makes stone and metal vibrate.

Avant de rentrer d'une promenade avant la nuit, j'ai saisi ces pigeons sur un escalier des quais de Seine vers le Palais de la Cité. Avec cette angle plongeant, on perd les repères et l'image fait rêver ; toute dans son fond abstrait dessiné par les vagues du fleuve. Les postures des oiseaux forment une couronne harmonieuse qui m'a donné l'idée du titre ''ballet''.

Before returning from a stroll before dark, I captured these pigeons on a staircase on the banks of the Seine towards the Palais de la Cité. With this plunging angle, you lose your tracks and the picture makes you dream; all in its abstract background drawn by the waves of the river. The postures of the birds form a harmonious crown which gave me the idea of the title '' ballet ''.

J'ai du dégainer très vite pour capturer cette singulière scène là ; pas le temps de faire les mises au point. Arriver devant un arrêt de bus, je voulais immortaliser ce contraste saisissant entre l'arrière plan (cette lumière incroyable et ce vert si pur), avec le premier plan (la pierre froide, la fille jolie mais aussi à l'air hautain et sombre --la clope--, pressée comme une parisienne désabusée). Donc le mélange de deux choses fascinantes d'une manière chacune si différente.

I had to shot very fast to capture this unique scene ; no time to elaborate the settings. When I arrived at a bus station, I wanted to immortalize this stunning contrast between the background (the incredible light and the so pure green), and the forefront (the cold stone, the pretty lady but also condescending-like and darkish --the cigarette--, a true disenchanted parisian girl). So, the mix of two fascinating things in their own way.

Petite promenade de fin de journée en skate, à la recherche de belles lumières. Gagné! Je tombe sur cette vue de Notre-Dame et ce lampadaire que j'ai voulu faire interagir avec le monument. J'aime la lumière hivernale froide et bleutée, les contrastes entre la brume d'arrière plan et la scène du pont. J'aime la pose de cette dame et l'écho au panneau interdit dans le rouge de ses cheveux. Elle est une des deux dames de cette composition, avec ''la Notre'' derrière.

A little ride with my skateboard, searching for great lights at the end of the day. Done! With this view of Notre-Dame and this lampost that I made interact with each other. I love the cold and blue winter light, and the contrasts between the mist in the background and the bridge scene. I love the pose of this woman, and her red hair that responds to the red traffic sign. She is one of the two ''ladies'' of this composition, with our great ''Dame'' behind.
