Promenade après le travail, le long de la Seine, comme souvent. Ce jour là une lumière rare, bleutée et argent, mais aussi limpide. Cela donnait une belle couleur au fleuve. En hauteur depuis le Pont-Neuf, la perspective écrasée est toute en lines, et les buveurs attablés semblent suspendus, sur le fil. Ainsi le titre l'évoque, mais il évoque aussi cet été étrange 2020, une parenthèse tant attendues après le confinement, mais avec la menace d'une suite.

A walk after work, along the Seine, as often. This day the sunlight was uncommon, blue and silver, but also very clear. This brought a beautiful color to the river. At highs from the Pont-Neuf (bridge), the flattened perspective is all lines, and the drinkers sitting seem suspended, on the edge. Thus the title, but not only. It also evokes this strange time where it was taken, this summer 2020 : a long- awaited transitory moment after the lockdown, with a threat of what will follow.
